DOBOJ -- Serbian President Boris Tadić traveled to the Serb entity (RS) in Bosnia yesterday to support the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD). The party, led by Milorad Dodik, organized an election gathering in the town of Doboj.

Tadić, who is also the leader of Serbia's ruling Democrats (DS), addressed the rally to support the party's candidates at the forthcoming elections in Bosnia, which will be held on October 3.

"I am here to speak from the heart and to support Milorad Dodik, Nebojša Radmanović, Nikola Špiric, Igor Radojičić and Dušanka Majkić," said Tadić.

The president, said Tanjug in its report, "in spite of problems with his voice did not fail to address the attendees".

The rally started with the sounding of the anthems of Serbia and the RS, and saw SNSD candidates for highest government positions present themselves.

Dodik is running for RS president, Radmanović as candidate for member of the Bosnia-Herzegovina Presidency, and others as candidates for Bosnians and RS parliaments.

"I am here to support my friends who run the Republic of Srpska in the best possible way," Tadić stressed.
